Too difficult when your point average is too high

Ive restarted the game entirely several times and its really fun to get a nice high point average right away. There is some kind of built in handicapping though- its much harder to win when the point average gets higher (around 200k). Winning stalls out. It gets boring to keep losing automatically because of a high point average.
